I think I should put this worship thing to rest finally. Many don't know what worship means and that's the problem. They belong to the generation that think

Praise = Fast Song, Worship = Slow Song.
I think this is the foundation of the misunderstanding.

Worship is done with Prayer, Words (fruit of our lips), and an Offering of Worship. When worship is done, these three things are offered to God. The Words used in worshipping God cannot be used on a human, because no human has done anything sufficient to receive such worship. E.g. when we say, 'All Power, All Honor, All Wisdom, belongs to God.. thine is the Kingdom, the Power, the Glory Forever'. No human can receive such because such Words are only worthy of God.

How does a tribute song on someone's birthday equal worship? Because the song is slow and sounds like a 'worship' music'?

Some argued that the song said, 'because of you the church is advancing'. Absolutely! Isn't that the idea behind seeking the (expansion) of the Kingdom of God? When the Churches were locked down, wasn't Pastor Chris' shouting every 30 seconds on TV for the Churches to be reopened, leading the Church to pray nonstop for weeks and months?

First, some dull minded poverty stricken brains (I blame the economy for the mental collapse) are having high blood pressure at the 'lavish' party. Calm down. That was not even the banquet; it was a costume party.

Some were shouting blasphemy that he's imitating Jesus. Is it satan he should copy? Didn't we dress like our super heroes at some point? Or the skit makers wearing wigs acting like Jesus and God, have you vexxed for them? If e reach your turn, dress like Lazarus since sapa has you on chokehold.

My last lines on this matter. I am done really. We have a lot of more important things to address in this Country.

@Funzman02 @adeolumayo @TheBeninBlogger Funz very valid question.... The resurrection of Christ from the dead justified your Christianity that's the only reason you are a Christian. If He only died to pay for your sins then there would never have been Christianity - Christ life in a man.

However that was not the only thing - He rose again in victory to give us a new life, that as He is so shall we be forever.
Now there will be no Christianity if Jesus didn't rise from the dead.

Like a story of a woman who was carrying a very heavy load; a pick up driver saw her by the sidewalk and gave her a lift. She got into the vehicle and still had the load on her head all thru the journey.

Suffering is a choice. I left my sufferings to the one who took them a long time ago, Jesus Christ. This is the essence of the Gospel.

Imagine you were sentenced to jail for 50 years, and a very rich individual came along and said to the judge, 'let me serve that time on his behalf', and this rich individual took off his bespoke suit, gave you the keys to his 2025 Bentley and his palatial beachside resort, wore your prison uniform, and took your place in jail.

That's exactly what Jesus did; he took your place so why are you still having life rough? Why are you serving time in the prison of failure and despair when He's done your time for you?

Don't speed read; slow down, read today's article and start your month accepting all Jesus has done for you.
