@marrowing@SHamiltonian It's what worries me as well. We need two possible parties of government but each time the libs get smashed they lose a whole bunch of moderates. Which drives the party even further to the right.
@PatsKarvelas I listen to you every morning anf as far as I can tell you give everyone who is making a political statement a hard time. I'd struggle to do that to someone I agreed with, so bravo for your impartiality
@AntonyGreenElec Is this odd looking because it's much wider than higher? To me it does look to group a lot of similar suburbs together that are just north of the cbd.
@Urban_Immerser @riotonthedfloor Yep set a reasonable carbon tax and usage of carbon will fall. Might be plane's are one of the spots. Unfortunately as a carbon tax is not politically possible you end up with regulations instead of where carbon can be emitted
@1petermartin @FedUniAustralia @ConversationEDU@ANUCrawford What would be a bold reform for the government to do today?
Carbon tax which was revenue neutral - ie all proceeds for the tax where given back via tax/welfare system - would be my suggestion.
@liammannix Thanks. I've been wondering what to tell my kids.
I do think one should consider how much you're going to earn. It doesn't have to be loads, but it does have to be enough.
@discoball2000 I used to live in Belgium. I suggested to an aussie friend to go indoor climbing and he said he wasn't sure. I said don't worry you can just have a beer at the bar instead. Also loved the closing hours in Belgium, when the last person left!
@SirLolsworthy@SHamiltonian Thanks, nice explanation.
Does really feel that we need another big bang tax reform to get revenue to the level needed to support services.
