To all the Supermarkets and big commercial stores that operate 'Self Check-outs'....... You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkout now. Yesterday I went shopping at one such store and the lady checking receipts at the exit was stopping everyone.
I didn't choose to participate in that nonsense, I had already filled my trolly, emptied my trolly and scanned the items, refilled my trolly and so I just skipped the exit line and left.
I heard her saying "Umm - Excuse me “ as I kept walking and raised the receipt above my head, leaving the store.
You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be.
• I'm not interested in proving that I did your job for you.
• If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that's your problem not mine.
• Keep employing young people and give them job opportunities.
YOU DON'T PAY ME TO SCAN MY OWN SHOPPING.

#APPEAL | Detectives are appealing for information after receiving two reports of serious sexual offences in Rochdale during the early hours of this morning (Saturday 25 July), which officers believe may be linked.

At 6.15am, officers received a report that a woman had been sexually assaulted in Broadfield Park, Rochdale, by a man unknown to her.

A second report was made at 8:38am concerning the sexual assault of a woman in Milnrow Memorial Park. The victim reported being attacked by a man she did not know.

Both victims have provided a similar description of the suspect. Police are looking for a black male believed to have been wearing a three piece suit or smart black clothes and a dark coat. The suspect is also believed to have been carrying a briefcase.

Detective Chief Inspector Thomas Willis said: "We have a robust investigation underway and are working at pace to identify and locate the man responsible.

"You will see an increased police presence in Broadfield Park, Milnrow Memorial Park and Rochdale town centre over the coming days and throughout this evening. Additional officers have been deployed to provide community reassurance and support our ongoing investigation."

🚨 WHY did Manchester City Council approve a lease for the exact Heron House suite now used as No.10 North on 10th June 2026?

Andy Burnham wasn’t even an MP until the Makerfield by-election on 18th June.

He didn’t become Prime Minister until 20th July.

So why was the temporary headquarters for “No.10 North” being signed off weeks before he was even elected to Parliament?

How does a serving Mayor “know” he’s about to win a by-election, get parachuted into the leadership, and be crowned PM within weeks — unless the entire sequence was already locked in?

Seeing first-hand different parts of Greater Manchester and how they’ve been demographically vandalised and bastardised beyond any recognition by mass immigration? It is so very depressing.

You could be standing in the middle of Pakistan, and you wouldn’t know the difference.

British communities have been forced out. Not over centuries, but years. Local men and women have watched these streets change in the most thorough and ruthlessly efficient manner.

The working class who built Greater Manchester have been driven out of certain streets, neighbourhoods and even towns.

Replaced.

In the most part? By one culture. By one religion. By one way of life.

Islam.

So let’s call it what it is.

Colonisation.

It’s happened there, I saw for myself. It will happen elsewhere.

I felt uncomfortable on those streets. I can only imagine how women feel, late at night and alone. The vast majority just don’t go. Unwelcome in their own town.

The good people of Greater Manchester have an opportunity on Thursday to register their discontent. Their anger. Their fury.

Marlon West, our candidate, knows what happens better than anyone when these parallel communities and legal systems are able to effectively police themselves, and it ends with vulnerable white girls getting abused and raped. It happened to his daughter, and it’s happened to thousands and thousands of other daughters across the region. It continues today, and every day.

Restore Britain is offering a democratic route out.

On Thursday, thousands and thousands of Greater Manchester men and women will take it.

🚨 CCTV RELEASED AFTER DOGS DUMPED FROM VEHICLE IN WEST YORKSHIRE VILLAGE OF ALTOFTS.

This took place today in the village of #altofts, #normanton, City of #wakefield WF6.

CCTV footage shows the two distressed dogs running after the vehicle as it sped away - a white Citroen van registration PN65 XUU (untaxed and with no MOT).

One dog has been caught but the other is still missing and at serious risk of coming to harm.

If you have any information, please contact police. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers.

No animal should ever have to experience that kind of fear or betrayal.

Police need the community’s help to identify those responsible.
