new post -- Wrote about the Wolves by now having established an actual era of success, thoughts about Finch's good and less good qualities as coach, and connectivity of defense and offense. Oh, and some Jaylen Clark stuff of course -- link below:
The Wolves are going to trade for someone who has very obvious and very real flaws. That’s completely unavoidable.
They don’t have the assets or the time to get someone who isn’t deeply flawed. Choosing the right flawed player is going to be the key for the front office.
blogged about the nba finals--specifically, about coming to peace with the knicks' success despite my being from The Global New Jersey, a place that you may be from, too, whether you realize it or not https://t.co/mp7caqekcK
@SherwoodStrauss the Wolves eliminated the Nuggets on the back of Terrence Shannon Junior, who was benched all year. They literally were forced to just give him the ball and let him make plays, and it worked.
President Donald Trump reportedly plans to attend Game 3 of the NBA Finals in New York
He was invited by Knicks owner/governor James Dolan.

After Wolves-Spurs Game 1 it was basically a celebration of Terrence Shannon talking about how he'd continue to come at Wemby for the rest of the series.
@DietBeginsMon and I'm not sure exactly how that plane lands without Connelly and the Rudy trade. People really enjoyed the 46-win season with the Memphis series, but there was some flukiness embedded in that. God only knows how Rosas would've used more future 1sts. D'Lo was a bad indicator.
Rosas did the combo of gutting KAT’s supporting cast while also trading away an effectively unprotected 1st to Golden State. I think it’s debatable or unclear what exactly he had in mind. Lotto luck + correctly choosing Ant was great tho.
@PDWolves They were organically bad in 2019. Not sure I recall a season they’ve been intentionally bad. First Thibs year was closest to it but that was just developing young players.
well, Rick *WAS* on the staff. But left shortly before the draft just before Glen could fire him for misconduct. And that little twist might well explain why he wasn’t our pick.
if Fox is just this bad, I guess maybe that's series-deciding, but I'd expect the Spurs to make defensive adjustments to try to really turn the heat up on that end and just figure shots go in or they don't on the other. Only one team has a Wemby.
