@jk_unless7@_GabsVersion You missed the point. OP criticized the ones who treated them like messiahs above reproach only to become hysterical and feel betrayed when they prove less than perfect. Both attitudes are out of proportion with reality.
@JM13ROY Jimin highlighted his music, invited him to be photographed together and suggested a collab. It’s clear Jimin is trying to help a young talented artist with his huge platform. Jimin won’t mind this man eagerly accepting the helping hand.
@KeyToMagicShop They are all roughly 30 years old. They shouldn’t have to lead lives of idols. They’re looking for a way of accommodating their own emotional needs and the demands of the fandom. I have to say the fandom isn’t responding very graciously lately.
@btschartsxdaily Jimin impressed me the most when I first saw him at the Arirang concert. I was at Stanford. I and the armys next to me gasped and looked at each other in amazement when he came on screen. His beauty, performance and stage presence are incredible.
@jminblonde There’s no point engaging with them it actually fuels their fandom since they otherwise have to find a way to get excited about normal interactions of the kind JK has with almost all the members
@ninibakerrry Armys sound like a very whiny entitled fandom lately. BTS gives and does so much more for you than most artists of their age and status. But it’s never enough.
@minygdumpling Where did they say they don’t want female fans? What’s wrong with them wanting more male fans in addition to female fans? People are whipping themselves into a mass hysteria over this and it’s really sounding crazy.
@Ta3hyungSK They want to appeal to people who don’t want to join the purple branded fandom. Army can keep their identity. But army has always tried to gatekeep BTS - attacking everyone who isn’t “true army” - and it actually harms BTS.
@tearsfortete@nuat_2005 But you don’t support them no matter what. Fans are having an extended meltdown and leaving the fandom in droves because 2 of them attended the concert of a bad person.
@afro_jimin No they’re just not limiting themselves to army. Think of what that fandom is associated with in people’s minds - it’s a turnoff to normal ppl who might like their music
@ChicknBunny13 They probably do want to distance the BTS brand from the army brand. Let’s face it, the army brand has a lot of negative things associated with it, in the eyes of people outside the fandom.
