@FoulTerritoryTV@JesseRogersESPN Dodgers are the best not because of payroll, but for being the best managed organization, top to bottom, in baseball. Mets fans, agree, yeah? Yankees? Yeah. Players: Tell the owners to pound sand.
@Matthew_Sean96@MLBPA That suggests people are stupid. They're not. The players are the game. And they're getting rich. But not as rich as the billionaire owners. Fans will understand the difference in zeros.
@purpledrank0 Let's see, MLB franchises continue to grow in value, attendance is way up. Ticket prices are way up. Concessions are way up. So billionaires need relief? And Leagues are fiercely competitive. Those who believe a cap necessary are being gaslit by owners. You're exactly right.
@LinstrumJ53505@OleTimeHardball Never won a game that mattered. .500 pitcher. There's 25 pitchers I'd start over Ryan in a game 7. Good in Cleveland on a Tuesday. Otherwise, mediocre. Walked as many as he struck out. A thrower, not a pitcher.
@JoshChavis65 As though those poor billionaires are incapable of policing their own spending. As though the value of every franchise isn't going up precipitously, and the league attendance is growing, as are obscene profit margins on concessions. Players deserve whatever they can negotiate.
@JesseRogersESPN Hey, owners- don't wanna pay, don't. So long as you're taking public money to build your stadiums you have no standing. Curt Flood is a hero-- honor his legacy. No f-ing way.
@johncanzanobft It was an Osborne Computer, in about 1976-78(?) owned by the father, of a girlfriend of mine. He was an M.D., and an early adopter of all kinds of things. He told me I could tinker with it, but since I couldn't code at all, I didn't get past the power button!
