Learning how to react to notes is crucial. How I do it:
-Listen & don't interrupt
-Don't get defensive (notes are meant to help, consider them a gift)
-Digest before responding
-If you disagree: "I want to respond thoughtfully. Let me think on this & get back to you"
-Thank them!
