Arkady Waispapir, the last known survivor of the Sobibor death camp, has died. He was 96. A Jewish soldier in the Soviet Army, Waispapir helped lead the storied uprising at Sobibor; he was one of only 47 escapees to survive the war. May his memory be a blessing.
