Before God will trust you with greater levels, He’ll put you in these situations to see what you do. When you could embarrass someone, will you bless them? When you could expose them, will you cover them? When you could push them down, will you show mercy and lift them? These are tests we all have to pass to reach our destiny.
Whatever situation, circumstance, or challenge you’re facing, bring it to God in prayer. Who can you share this truth with today?
“𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵.” — Colossians 4:2 NLT
If you’re depending on a person, it’s not only going to frustrate you, but it’s a lot of pressure on them. That’s a burden they can’t carry. You’re trying to get from them what only God can give. The sooner you start encouraging yourself, declaring what God says about you, the better off you’ll be.
Faith is not always going to make sense. What God says is not always going to be logical. If you reason it out and check with all the experts and study all the reports, you’ll miss God’s best. God doesn’t ask us to figure it out. All He asks is that we believe.
Start every morning thanking God for what He promised over your life. “Father, thank You that You promised the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter. You promised no good thing will You withhold because I walk uprightly. You Promised You would do exceeding, abundantly above and beyond what I can imagine.”
Are there some situations today that you need to leave alone? You’re striving, trying to force it, living stressed, but nothing’s changing. Why don’t you come back to a place of peace. God hasn’t brought you this far to leave you.
God brings people in and moves people out. Don't be discouraged over who walked away, who wouldn’t stay. If they left you, you didn’t need them. If they walked away, let them go. God has new relationships, new opportunities.
When you use what you have—no matter how little it seems—God will multiply it. Don’t wait until you feel like a mighty hero. God works in our circumstances when we have faith, even the smallest amount of it. God’s promises are motion-activated.
Don’t fight everything you don’t like. Before you ask God to change the situation, say, “God, change me. Help me to grow. Help me to come up higher. Help me to trust You more.” Those are opportunities to show God that you’re ready for the amazing future He has in store.
How much pressure are you putting on yourself trying to prove, to measure up, to get validation? You don’t have to perform better for God to approve of you. It isn’t based on what you did or didn’t do. It’s based on who you are: His child.
When you’re spending a lot of emotional energy, being productive, using your skills, helping others, you have to make sure you’re taking time to get filled back up emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
Sickness may have a word, depression may have a word, addictions, but remember, it’s not the last word. The final word comes from the God who created the universe, the God who stretched out the heavens, the God who parted Red Seas, the God who breathed life into you.
