Got this from this girl and it got me really emotional.
I had just finished my project when I noticed this girl who lives with her boyfriend in an apartment not far from mine, I presume she was 18-19 yrs old.
she had this cut on her face that felt like not normal to me.
I reached out to her and asked what gave her that cut, she lied at first but finally opened up to me.
From that guy of course, asked her to move in with me. And she began to cry.
She was born out of wedlock and lived with her grandma until her grandma passed and she became helpless. Reasons why she had to move in with that guy.
She was with me and for the first two days non of us stepped out of the room because I suspected that nigga do be looking for her.
I approached him three days later and asked, that lady you live with, are you both married? He said no and I told him.
Fine.
I moved to a new area and I asked her to come with me.
To cut it short, she’s doing fine we just secured her a job to work in a culinary school in Lagos through the help of an uncle and I’m beyond grateful.
Yesss! That girl sent me this. I cried last night when I received it.
It takes nothing to be a nice person actually.
There are things in this world that will never make sense no matter how you try to reason them and r@pe, especially against children, is one of them.
It’s a kind of evil that language itself struggles to hold. How do you explain the mind of someone who finds power in destroying innocence? How do you describe a cruelty that steals childhood, shatters innocence, and leaves a soul trying to rebuild itself from pieces that should never have been broken in the first place?
R@pe is not a mistake. It’s not a moment of weakness. It is deliberate violence a violation that rewrites someone’s story without their consent. And when it happens to a child, it becomes something even darker, a crime against purity itself.
Children are supposed to be learning laughter, safety, warmth not trauma, shame, and fear that lasts a lifetime.
We live in a world where survivors are told to heal quietly while predators move freely. Where people ask, “What was she wearing?” instead of “Why did he do it?”
And every time this happens, something inside humanity d!es a little empathy, decency, accountability.
There are wounds time can never heal. But there should at least be justice. There should be outrage. There should be a world that stands up for its broken and refuses to make excuses for monsters who hide behind power, gender, or silence.
Because r@pe of anyone, anywhere, at any age is not something we should ever get used to hearing about. It’s not “just one of those things that happen.”
It is evil, and it should burn our collective conscience every single time. I don’t understand how you look at a child and decide to destroy them. I don’t understand how you sleep after that. I don’t understand how the ground doesn’t open and swallow you whole.
Because there are sins that forgiveness cannot touch. Some evils don’t deserve redemption.
