@grok video will be insane.
I just tried veo3 for the first time yesterday and it’s absolutely scary what we’re going to be able to create soon.
Anyone try grok video yet?

After 354 years, Hudson's Bay company is going out of business.
And I'm pissed.
Not because I'm some avid shopper that goes to the bay all the time.
I can't even remember the last time we went to there.
Maybe it was to buy like a bathtowel or something, I don't know.
I'm pissed off because this easily could have been avoided if they had just done a few things that a lot of other smarter businesses are doing.
The reality is that 50% of businesses fail but larger companies like the Bay fail at a much lower rate.. So what happened?
I can't stress the fact that there really are only a few things that need to be a core part of your business plan for you to avoid this catastrophic failure.
And most businesses aren't paying attention to it.
I've spent over 15 years leading very successful teams at large organizations, including companies like Tesla.
And they all had this in common.
Number one; make sure you're delivering on your original promise to all of your customers on a consistent basis.
At the very least, you should be meeting the expectations they have for that promise, if not exceeding that promise.
Second; you need to be paying very close attention to your competition.
And investing money into making sure that you're innovating and making your company better.
If you're not getting better, especially in 2025, you're getting way worse.
Canadian businesses are going to suffer more and more. I don’t see an easier road ahead for any business owner.
In my experience helping businesses of all sizes, there’s always a pretty large gap that's preventing a business or a company from being significantly more efficient and profitable.
Or they're leaving a significant amount of money on the table because they're continuously fulfilling that promise that I just talked about… But they're not offering more products and services back to their customers.
If I’m constantly happy with your product or service, you should offer me more!!!
If you’re fulfilling promises, look closely at your competitors to see what they're doing better than you.
Invest into hiring someone to take a fresh perspective of your business and see what they can make more efficient.
I can almost guarantee that you probably have blind spots. You need someone to challenge your assumptions,
Or you're going to end up like the Hudson's Bay company.
If you don't already know someone that can help you with this fresh perspective.
Comment “AUDIT” below and I'll send you a DM with a direct link to my calendar so we can start that conversation.
But if you're not fulfilling promises to your customers consistently, this is probably not the right next step. Strategize that first.
@AnnHilton22 Ok, next send us a video of you explaining it so we can all confirm you are, truly Canadian. Saying this all anonymously isn’t helping the party you support. Show your pride!
@Afanoftheowner Yeah, but if they do survive, they still need to change their strategy as a company or it will continue to bleed money.
I do need to some new bath towels though… 😂
Grok 3 about to be $50 CAD/month.
I’m keeping it, because it’s actually that good.
Chatgpt search is garbage compared to deep search on Grok. Like, unbelievably good.
“Honestly, people are going to fall in love with @grok, it’s 1000% probable.” - @elonmusk today at the Grok 3 demo event.
There are already 30 million+ people in love or in some form of relationship with AI on @replika .
Wild times ahead.
Grok has custom Grok's now - so you can create your own smart AI friend.
It's no where near as powerful as Claude or ChatGPT yet but how far it has come in a short time is nuts.
I used to use @evernote all the time.
Now, it’s like every time I open it, I’m AGGRESSIVELY pushed to sign up for a paid subscription.
When I say aggressive, I mean every single possible tactic they can do, they’re doing.
No easy way to skip, buttons for “cancel” are reversed so you might accidentally cancel. Etc.
I have a lot of notes in there from the last 15 years and it gives me anxiety everytime I go to open it.
I understand it’s a business that needs to be profitable but this is not the way to do it.
Slowly moving all my notes over to the apple notes app.
I ran for Valedictorian for my High School grad and didn’t win.
My good friend did, but it still sucked.
It’s because I didn’t have a script for my campaign speech.
I still hate scripts. They seem so unnatural.
When I see politicians or news anchors literally reading a script it makes me cringe to this day.
But there needs to be a balance.
I’m working on the launch of my YouTube channel but I know that the videos will be 10x better if they are well structured.
Working on having 5-10 videos ideas ready, then will get to filming and releasing in the coming weeks.
Let’s see how this goes….
