We are an electrical company in the Sacramento area. We pride ourselves on remaining punctual and professional while always providing reasonable prices.
As tempting as it is to have your very own Christmas vacation reenactment, we urge you to NOT overload your home with lights as this can be the result! Stay safe!
We here at Peach Electric have a lot to be thankful for this year. It's been a tough one, but we want to share our gratitude with all of our clients and families who have allowed us to help them. So, thank you! Stay safe and enjoy your Thanksgiving!
Caught this old Zinsco breaker trying to melt the insulation off this wire! What's happening here is the wire is overloaded and it's heating up so much that the outer sheath is melting off. Fire risk in action. Stay safe out there!
That little copper wire on the left can cause a lot of trouble. It's a trick often used to pass home inspections before sales. Electricity can end up taking another path back to the panel (lighting up your fridge or faucet) giving you a nasty surprise.
Since we're spending so much more time at home, this client decided to renovate their pool house! We'll keep you updated on the progress, keep an eye out in the coming weeks!
Many of the homes in our area are older and lack ventilation for kitchens/bathrooms. Make sure that moisture and grease is expelled properly to extend the life of your paint, cabinets, and anything else in the area! Give us a call, we're here to help!
Cords falling out of your outlets? That means the fins inside are worn, unable to hold the plug in place. Don't let this become a fire hazard. Give Peach Electric a call!
Nope, this isn't the work of a supercharged gopher. You're looking at the start of underground service for one of our clients. Tired of those overhead wires? Give us a buzz!
Did you know that fans are not just for cooling? Run your fan counterclockwise in Summer for a cooler wind effect and clockwise in Winter to disperse the warm air at the top throughout the room.
What kind of outlets are you rockin' in your bathroom and kitchen? Whenever you have electricity near water you want to make sure you have GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlets installed. Stay safe!
Lookin' to get a charging station set up for your new electric vehicle? Look no further! Give us a call and we'll make sure your car stays juiced up for the future!
Safety tip!
Storing wires and cords can be a pain and we try to save as much space as possible, but remember not to crease or fold them. This can lead to the breakdown of the sheath which will expose the wire underneath. Stay safe!
Well lookie here! A melted 50a main breaker for a pool sub panel. We helped this homeowner get cool again by replacing both the panel and breaker with a code-required GFCI breaker. Stay safe!
A fantastic example of an improper bonding of a water pipe (Neutral is tied to the water pipe). The homeowner could have had quite the surprise. Stay safe!
