@trashyhonky I feel like governments love adding these in for projects but they often arenโt well managed. Same as the tops of the smart poles down George Street and the lighting on the roof of the Sydney Fish Markets
@Nirgal451 Im so glad they brought it back there. I remember the very first vivid I think was mostly focused around the rocks and they did projections on the argyle cut and it was fantastic. Such a great canvas.
@Nirgal451 They are so ugly. A year or so ago I wrote to a punch of MPs and gov agencies about them, mostly fell on deaf ears. At the very least they need a solution that feels less like a pool fence and more like the international tourist destination it is.
@TerenceMcCart14 A marvelous decision ๐ I feel like the biggest benefit is to the public domain, trams are much nicer running through neighborhoods and feel more structured and more visible than bus routes
not that anyone will care, but i finally have decided to leave this hell hole and will now be giving bluesky a go. there is lots of good on here of course, but the swamp is rising and it's toxic and gross. good luck out there.
@TerenceMcCart14 I love all the industrial shades of grey and concrete contrasted with the bright pops of colour and different materials like timber etc. Very cool design.
