You’ve heard the term spin efficiency for years, but still can’t conceptualize it.

Let’s change that in 30 seconds:

You’ll notice some of these have a lot of variance.

That’s because it will largely depend on if you are trying to create the movement via Magnus force or more SSW.

Higher ranges (even higher than listed) will utilize more Magnus in most cases.

These aren’t hard numbers, but will point you in the right direction.

Pitching success boils down to 3 main things.

1. Can you miss bats?
2. Can you limit free bases?
3. Can you limit damage?

Good pitchers are good in 2/3.

Great pitchers are good in 3/3.

Simple process. Difficult to do.

Train accordingly.
