🚩 Red Flag Warning for Saturday 🚩
As advertised, a Red Flag Warning is in effect for Saturday. We ask that you please save any burning for another time. Low humidity, no rainfall, and increased winds create dangerous conditions where fires can spread quickly.
🚩 𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗚 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 🚩
Extended through Monday evening
The National Weather Service has extended the Red Flag Warning into Monday. Gusty winds, low humidity & dry conditions will cause any fires that develop to spread quickly & contribute to extreme fire behavior.
🚩 𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗚 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 🚩
The National Weather Service has placed our area under a Red Flag Warning for Sunday. Gusty winds, low humidity and dry conditions will cause any fires that develop to spread quickly and contribute to extreme fire behavior.
Rain expected overnight should help reduce remaining flames and embers. However, the area will likely continue to smolder and produce smoke.
Please use caution when driving through the area as it could reduce visibilities at times.
𝐈-𝟓𝟗 𝐒𝐌𝐎𝐊𝐄 & 𝐇𝐀𝐙𝐄
We are aware of smoke and some fires smoldering in the wooded area along I‑59 near mile markers 8 and 9. The fire activity you may see is within a containment line that forestry crews established earlier today.
