🌙🔐 #Midnight architecture: a single smart contract can update two completely separate states at the exact same time a public state, fully visible on-chain to anyone, and a private state, known only to the parties directly involved in the transaction.

Here's the clever part: instead of broadcasting the private data itself to prove the transaction is valid, the contract generates a zero-knowledge proof confirming the private update followed the rules correctly. Only that proof gets published alongside the public state change the sensitive inputs never touch the chain.

It’s really sad. I 💯 believe in Charles and his vision but he needs to seriously control his emotions. I don’t think x is a good platform for him. Most people know that if you say things people will take them out of context and used against you. I think he needs to be very careful of his words as a leader in this space.
