@nellucnhoj I agree with (what I think is) @thingsbydan's viewpoint, that "show, don't tell" isn't so much a rule as maybe an exercise. It's good to practice so you know when words aren't needed, but if you take it as a rule you're just making things hard for yourself AND the reader.
