Most of it is overlooked. Treated as residue. Left outside the global materials conversation. Yet inside these plants are specialised structures, fibres, minerals, polymers, and chemical compounds with the power to support advanced manufacturing, clean technologies, sustainable materials, biotechnology, and scientific research.
We are building a discovery platform to turn this overlooked biological diversity into a globally accessible source of specialty raw materials.
Beginning with a dedicated 20 hectare research and development site within a larger privately owned tropical peat estate, we are identifying, characterising, and preparing rare plant derived precursors for industries seeking better alternatives to conventional feedstocks.
We are not chasing commodity volume.
We focus on materials that are difficult to source, scientifically valuable, and prepared to consistent technical specifications.
Every plant is more than a single crop. It is a collection of distinct biological components. Different fractions can hold different structural, chemical, and functional properties. By joining field knowledge, laboratory characterisation, and commercial validation, we aim to uncover opportunities hidden within existing tropical biomass.
Our early research centres on mature oil palm systems growing on peat soils, while also exploring future crops naturally suited to tropical peat ecosystems. As the platform expands, more species will be evaluated through the same scientific approach.
Long term success will not be measured by how much biomass we produce.
It will be measured by the industrial pathways unlocked, the scientific knowledge generated, and the partnerships built between tropical ecosystems and the global innovation economy.

Market size projections for natural fibre composites range from approximately US$460 million by 2029 (engineered biocomposites only) to US$11.8 billion in 2026 (including wood-plastic and construction composites). The resulting disparity is so pronounced that aggregate figures lose analytical value; research will therefore concentrate on specific end-use applications rather than pursuing headline market numbers.

The global mesoporous silica market is estimated at roughly US$200 to 216 million in 2026, with some forecasts suggesting annual growth of about 10 to 11% through 2033. This remains a specialist market, and our work is still assessing whether palm derived material can exponentially serve it.
A 2026 study successfully produced mesoporous biosilica from oil palm male inflorescence, which suggests possible future uses in adsorption, catalyst supports, environmental remediation, composites, and other porous material applications.
Our initial phase will be nothing more but utilizing approximately 200,000 square meters (m²) research and development site within a larger privately owned peat estate.
We do not compete in high volume commodity markets. We mainly focus on materials that are difficult to source, scientifically valuable, and prepared uncover new opportunities hidden within existing tropical biomass.
