Anambra State Governor Peter Obi has inaugurated an ultra-modern residential quarters built for judicial officers at Onitsha.
Earlier this week, I spoke with Pastor Paul Adefarasin for over two hours. In the course of our conversation, he explained to me that his statement to the effect that 'Nigeria is dead' was taken out of context and did not relate to President Tinubu's leadership and management of Nigeria's affairs.
Pastor Adefarasin detailed to me that he had been talking about Nigeria from a historical perspective, and in terms of the initial concept of Nigeria, as pieced together by Great Britain, and how that mercantile contraption was dead.
After speaking with Pastor Adefarasin, I came out of the conversation convinced that this is a cleric who means well for Nigeria, and comes from a long lineage of men and women who not only meant well for this great nation, but also did well. Very well.
I then explained to Pastor Paul how the vacuum created by France's departure from the Sahel has had spiralling effects on the region's security, which Nigeria is contending with. Chief among those outcomes is that counterterrorism efforts in parts of the Sahel suffered, and previously contained non-state actors began spilling over, with Nigeria having to deal with the contagious effects of such escalations.
I also took time to cover with Pastor Adefarasin why pegging the Naira to the Dollar under President Shagari had devastating consequences for our economy and why floating our currency by the Tinubu administration has had cathartic effects on our polity, leading to twelve uninterrupted cycles of GDP growth and trade surpluses, and making Nigeria the sixth largest contributor to global GDP in 2025, as acknowledged by the International Monetary Fund, and other attendant benefits, including reducing total national debt, our inflation rate, and attracting Foreign Direct Investment and Foreign Portfolio Investment at never before seen levels.
In conclusion, I would like to thank Pastor Paul Adefarasin for believing in Nigeria as a going concern, and accepting that our nation is very much alive and thriving, and for mentoring youth and other strata of society.
May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
(This message, though entirely authored by me, was coordinated with Pastor Paul Adefarasin and his communications advisor.)

O Allah, spare me from the injustice of people and the hardness of their hearts and the malice of their intentions and the evil of their aims, and grant me inner peace and happiness that I do not derive from people, and suffice me with Your love and grace over anyone else...Ameen
University lecturers fraud are quite sophisticated.
They use the class reps as agents. The class reps then communicates with the students via WhatsApp and other means and takes only cash. As a reward, class reps usually graduate with 2.1 or first class in addition to commissions.
When these cases are taken up to the university senate, some of the members there commit same fraud. Only fully exposed or disgraced lecturers are dismissed.
This is a major decay in our country.
This is the reason why many universities produce low quality graduates. Graduates who know absolutely nothing about what they studied.
The same lecturers will be hired by INEC as returning officers to destroy the destinies of millions of people for another 4 years.
We need to dismantle this evil and corrupt practice totally.
If we don’t fix this, nothing else matters.
Lecturers who are extorting the students via handouts, sorting or sex for grades must stop now.
You guys are the reason for poor quality graduates in our society today.
We will declare war on you and expose you. Your pictures, your names, your crimes and accompanying law suits.
