Did @GoogleAI or @OpenAI license content when training their LLM and GenAI models? Or are both trained on content on the internet without any kind of approval from the original authors/artists?
If not even the big companies, who have the means, pay for the training data I find it pretty short-sighted, when it seems obvious that they will be hit by a wave of lawsuits. Or is the problem that the data sets are so big that even for them it gets too complicated to pay?
Good news, "Flying" has now been reinstated on the channel again! π₯³π₯³
Thank you to @TeamYouTube for quickly processing the appeal, and for the swift response by the claimant.
The claimant realized that the takedown was based on a false claim from the automatic copyright system, and that the video never should have been removed in the first place.
Thank you very much for all the support and kind messages you sent! I really appreciate that and it's super nice that so many of you listen to it daily.
Have a great day! π
@YouTubeCreators "Flying", with over 400 million views, has been taken down today and I haven't received any information about the details. Could you please get back to my email as soon as possible? The music in the video is my own and the clips have been properly licensed...
