.@BernieSanders , it is a time to celebrate. @elonmusk has created enormous value for society by building @SpaceX, driving down the cost of rocket launches and creating a global satellite communication network that has brought high speed, low-cost internet and communication access to hundreds of millions and eventually billions of people along with critical advantages for our military and our nation’s defense.

SpaceX and its technologies will cause an acceleration in the growth of wages and wealth creation globally, including in some of the poorest communities in the U.S. and around the world.

Access to low-cost, high speed communications everywhere will allow children around the world to be educated, families to build businesses, and life-saving medical knowledge and care to be available everywhere.

SpaceX will materially bring down the cost of compute, advancing AI and humanity.

Meanwhile, 4,000 SpaceX employees yesterday became millionaires, including hourly wage employees who you claim you are trying to help.

The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist.

Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives.

Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation.

Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears.

Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction.

We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.

I guess Thanks for this follow up and clarification. If you could man up enough once you read the comments you would use the word “apology” in this follow up and not just “realizing” you needed to just be “clearer”! But more importantly Now that you have realized you are also merely a mortal and incapable of leading this organization with the kind of leadership DNA it deserves and requires at its darkest of hours over a very complex situation that you clearly incapable of providing actionable suggestions, just do all of us a huge favor and do the right thing by resigning! Allow a more reliable leader to take over your role. That will also garner you enough credit at last by doing something right here! Please man up and just be gone!

@Tesla @robmaurer @teslaownersSV @robmaurer @Teslarati @elonmusk I used Smart Summon in my Tesla (running firmware v12.3.6) for a very short distance in a private parking lot to come pick me up. To my shocking surprise, it made a sudden wrong sharp turn (away from me) and hit my friend’s car parked next to it (more than enough space between my car and the other Tesla and I had even backed into the spot!) ... I was watching it at distance and this happened right away as it started moving literally just inches and just hit the rear corner of the other car and stopped!... There was not enough reaction time for me to lift my finger from the button in the app to stop the Smart Summon or even if I did no way for the app on cellular have enough time to send stop command to the moving vehicle in that split of a second.

Now I need to endure the pain and suffering of fixing my car and someone else’s car which was also damaged. How is this even possible to fail such a simple use case after all these years of numerous firmware updates upon updates we have received to make these cars smarter and better? This feature should not even be available in production. This is below ‘Beta’ if it can fail at this rudimentary level. Not even confident if the sensors in my car are good or if the car itself is safe to drive when it can fail on something this basic. I also do not think it is ethical for any company to sell a feature that can possibly cause damage on its own for SUCH simple use case (i.e. moving forward like 10-20 inches from spot it was parked in) no matter how much legal disclaimer and fine prints are in the foot notes! I have tried to contact Tesla to get some answers and help, and not able to get anywhere and I worry whatever logs my car has can get overwritten before I can find anyone willing to look into what happened here!! I appreciate some advice here on what can possibly be done here.
