#Conclave - funny old world. Twists and turns of choosing a Pope. All very good until a custard pie in the face hits you, and you struggle to stand your ground whilst you try and work out whether you can adam and eve it or ultimately if there is any point. God only knows 3/5

#Gladiator2 the answer is yes, it is possible to do a decent sequel many years later. Just sometimes. Better than the first? You decide. But for me what they do in the sequel echoes in eternity. I was indeed entertained. 4/5

#CivilWar -Scarily and rather worryingly I thought I'd just switched on the news channel. Garland once again produces the goods and leaves you on the edge of your seat. Actually fell off a couple of times. Thank God it's just a movie....it is though, right? 🤨 4/5

#Anora - fast paced lap dance that promised the earth but delivered Swindon. Nothing against Swindon - I just passed it on my way home without much fanfare so thought it appropriate to reference. 2/5

#Old Shyamalin at it again. Tales of the expected u turn perhaps. Keeps you guessing all the way. I'm still waiting for that same punch in the gut feeling you get when watching The Village which none since have managed. Intriguing nonetheless. 3/5

#TriangleOfSadness Glorious movie. I wouldn't watch it whilst eating your Sunday lunch and i'd also recommend you guzzle your popcorn and Malteasers well before the second act. Lovely stuff that builds and builds to a fine crescendo. Bravo. 5/5
