me: i'm really tired i should go to sleep
my evil twin that takes over my body and makes bad decisions for me:
let's spend three hours writing an in depth explanation on github of how to change the comm interface and control code for obscure motors
was using chatgpt api to annotate a dataset SEQUENTIALLY for hours then realized i could just run like 100 threads in parallel and the rest took like 10 min
@PeterDiamandis i'd argue the parallel isn't the same, cars basically all do the same thing but there are thousands of specialized tasks robots can do. even with general purpose/humanoids you'll still have welding robots/car assembly/trash sorting etc.
one of the coolest parts of studying engineering/math/physics is feeling like every class that i take is a bit harder than the last one and that i'm getting closer and closer to the frontier of human knowledge
top 2 worst food experiences:
1. the small slimy white stuff in scrambled eggs that never seem to cook (what is that?)
2. dates that have mold on the inside
me yesterday: 7 hours trying to change the communication interface for two motors, didn't work at all
me today: tried again and did the exact same thing i did yesterday and it worked on the first try in 20 minutes. tf ?????
(at least it worked tho lfg)
