this show is meant to be about women who survived a plane crash and theyāre cutting down scenes that are crucial to the arcs of their lead characters so we can watch useless scenes of *checks notes* shaunaās husband
If you canāt understand basic things like why Mari took off her jacket during the hunt I cannot take anything else you say about the show seriously. āThey just did it for continuityā ARE YOU SAYING SHE SHOULDVE KEPT ON THE BIG FLUORESCENT JACKET SHE WAS WEARING IN THE SNOW???
her death saved at least 8 lives and thatās a truly honourable way to go. i hope it haunts shauna the rest of her life that the only reason sheās still here is because mari isnāt.
āNO OTHER LANDā co-director Hamdan Ballal has been freed and is now reuniting with his family.
He was handcuffed up all night and beaten in a military base.
This is Hossamās team, and we are sharing his final message :
āIf youāre reading this, it means I have been killedāmost likely targetedāby the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years oldāa college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tentsāanywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my peopleās side.
By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at restāsomething I havenāt known in the past 18 months . I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.
I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza. Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our storiesāuntil Palestine is free.ā
ā For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza.
