@TheGoldenSmurf Eh. This is likely just all marketing. Is there any other kind of announcement for a project like this that would get this level of attention?
Henchmen of the world need to reclaim the word ‘goon’ we can’t let these sweaty horny people corrupt good old honest gooning
Remember when goons back in the day meant minions? Yeah I remember, bring it back!!
Tunnel snakes rule!
@SonicPhase They do, Steam takes 30% (it goes down to 20% after enough sales but that's not relevant for the vast majority of games) while Epic takes 12%. Of course if not enough people use Epic or discoverability is bad then 88% of nothing is still less than 70% of something.
@SonicPhase "didn’t rush Frontiers"
"they had to spend a lot of time figuring out what worked."
So they were not given enough time, perhaps? One could even say, under this position, that they were rushed? Just using the text of the tweet itself.
@nudetaku@StrongMoist TIL: Rollback is when the game keeps going by prediction instead of stopping if there's lag. And then updates once net is stable again. It's not magic but it allows for a more stable experience even under some degree of internet instability when properly implemented.
@krembeni Game must have insane whales with it having a near negative internet presence outside of ads. The marketing is more memed than what it is marketing.
@Ninja_V_Ice@KungFuMan316 Palpatine even goes down while using lightening too so you could argue that using that particular Sith power opens a user up to getting caught in something like this due to how this ability just seems to stun lock the user somewhat.
