So I went to the Golden Lion in Royal College Street and I will say why it needs some love because they are doing everything right.
It’s situated next to a monstrosity of a gentrification redevelopment in a hidden gem of Camden. The pub is a locals favourite but is tryinging
though the loos were in the cellar, they installed a stair lift. It might be not the most fancy but they did it. So, I’m basically saying support your local. They care about you.
So my favourite London bus had been reborn and is serving some local brews. Good for a stop off on your way to the local breweries.
I enjoyed a Five Points. Always a good one for a sunny day. Although there was a tempting Pilsner on offer as well. Pop in to @ludoslondon.
Miltons Tap, #Buxton, Derbyshire
Beer: 4/10
Toilets: 4/10
It advertises itself as a Tap room and having craft beer. Instead we find one local ale and Beavertown Neckoil as the choices. Toilets stank and could do with bleach.

The Nag’s Head, Edale, Derbyshire
Beer: 6/10
Toilets: 5/10
A Grade II listed Inn with a few local or craft beers on offer. Oak beams, and toilets with modern tiles and sinks but could do with more closer monitoring for cleanliness.

The Old Club House, Buxton, Derbyshire
Beer: 4/10

A Greene King you can’t rate the beer highly. You get a Landlords, Best or other. The best on offer is Punk IPA. The toilets are clean & functional up some steps. The building is impressive.

Probably our favourite spot of night. Lit clouds like Monkey and a nice range of beer. Although I’d give the Irn Bru sour a miss.
