@BobAbercrombie3@haveigotnews I'm afraid it is Bob, you're fighting a losing battle with that one. I suspect that your issue is that it's aimed at something you hold dear. Here in good old Blighty, we're pretty good at laughing at ourselves. ๐
@stephenmathersm@BBCScotlandNews Now now Stephen, it's being carried by other outlets as well. You maybe need to take a look outside your cocoon? Nice to see the first minister showing great support for the rural communities.
@ammacj@BBCScotlandNews@BBCandrewkerr@BBCJamesCook Not straight down the middle I'm afraid as that wouldn't be reportage. But as we're at the stage of calling it nonsense then I accept it's obviously impossible for you to accept the fact.
@ammacj@BBCScotlandNews@BBCandrewkerr@BBCJamesCook A headline has to be snappy enough to encourage the reader to click and read further. There's plenty of poor examples but this one is bang on straight down the middle.
@ammacj@BBCScotlandNews@BBCandrewkerr@BBCJamesCook Would you rush into the room and say "Hey mum, guess what. Because of the cuts to Scotland by Westminster, the Scottish government has said that the universal payment is ending"? No you wouldn't. You would say the fact that will affect her, and that is what the headline says.
@ammacj@BBCScotlandNews@BBCandrewkerr@BBCJamesCook It isn't misleading, the word "universal " clearly tells me what I need to know from this story. I would be interested to know how you would headline it.
