Whenever the Samajwadi Party tries to act all concerned about paper leaks, people need to remember the actual history here.

Back in 1992, the BJP in UP made cheating a non-bailable offense to put a stop to it, but as soon as SP came to power in 1993, they scrapped that law entirely. That single decision basically paved the way for "self-study centers," where students could cheat right inside their own classrooms with zero oversight.

When the BJP came back in 1997, they had to spend their time cleaning up that exact mess. Honestly, the damage from what SP did back in '93 was so deep that we literally needed a brand-new law passed in 2024 to finally tackle the problem properly.

You can't create the very conditions that allowed organized cheating to flourish for decades, and then years later pretend to care about exam integrity just because it grabs a headline today. It’s completely hypocritical. Say what you want, but Yogi Adityanath has actually treated this issue as a matter of principle rather than just playing optics. That’s why the toughest law against paper leaks in the country’s history was brought in under the BJP, not them. Honestly, #TumToChupHiRaho.

Today, UP achieved its target of planting 35 crore saplings in a single day across all 75 districts.

Apart from this humongous feat, what was equally interesting was how the awareness drive was carried out to encourage people to participate in the mega event. Instead of relying only on traditional posters or announcements, there were nukkad nataks and folk artists performing with dhol and manjira at bus stands and busy street corners, explaining why planting trees matter and what the campaign is all about.

A smart way to spread awareness because most people don't read govt notifications or follow every campaign on social media, but they'll stop for a street performance. Someone waiting for a bus is far more likely to remember a simple message delivered through folk music than another poster or hashtag.

Planting crores of saplings is one part of the effort. Getting ordinary people to understand why trees matter and feel connected to the campaign is just as important. Using local artists for that was a thoughtful and effective approach.

I visited him and his centre in Delhi today

Around 100 children study here and also receive free meals. Classes begin with Gayatri Mantra and Om, and conclude with Hanuman Chalisa

Those who refuse to do these prayers, are not given admission
