bizarre amount of australian products imported (vegemite, specific brands of products). all varieties of coffee have been great (espresso, single origin filters, malay, viet). some food and drinks are just insanely cheap (kaya toast w 2 eggs and coffee = 7ish AUD)

my impressions of singapore are great so far, it feels like ive just stepped into an alternate melbourne and i fucking love melbourne

other observations: no bird poop, rarely see birds. the footpaths of chinatown have a bizarre amount of steps (they're all made clear with warnings, but you're just constantly stepping up and down for some reason). really interesting combination of architectures for housing/apts.
