MJ lead his team in scoring and averaged 5.9 assists as a 21 year old.

Tracy McGrady lead his team in scoring with over 4 assists by 21 and lead the whole league in scoring with 5.5 assists at 23

That's .06% mortality rate for all cases. And that's with us taking the high end of both statistics. The lower end gives us a figure below Covid for sure.

Tatum was 23rd in the NBA, and Smart was 9th with 1.7 and has never cracked 2 per game.

Not impossible for Tatum to average 2, but not that likely.

Just in the same way you know a 40% three point shooter is a good one, because he shoots above league average. Even though he’s still missing 60% of his threes.
