The scenes in Rotherham aren’t a protest, they aren’t even a far right riot, they are an ongoing attempt to murder the men, women & children inside by burning them alive.
The stench of these days will hang around those who incited and justified it for the rest of their lives.
'I'm shocked to find out how many racist friends I have'.
Debbie Stokes, a local who works at a nearby library, said the disorder in Liverpool last night was 'disgusting'.

Please remember this 👇
in 2000, the UK govt brought in laws forcing asylum seekers NOT to work or save money; NOT to pay rent; NOT to pay for their own food, heating+living costs.

Yesterday, our crew witnessed how the Libyan militia "Stability Support Apparatus" endangered the rescue of 87 people by @MSF_Sea. Their threatening maneuvers caused panic, people jumped – a situation that could have ended deadly for many without the presence of civil sea rescue.
What would good, from an asylum perspective, look like from Labour;
1. Scrap Rwanda, which they’ve pledged to do. Take all offshore processing & ‘third safe country’ processing off the table.
10. End the hostile environment, call people in to us. People are in criminal, labour & sexual exploitation. Hiding from help because they’re frightened.
‘My brother and I came to this Country 24 years ago as asylum Seekers. Now I am a lead practitioner in maths and my brother is the head of the computer science department.
Today’s asylum Seekers will contribute to the future of this Country’

Nine weeks of detention in the hope that this will weaken their resistance to deportation.
And let's not forget that most of these people would be granted refugee status or another form of protection if they were allowed to submit an asylum claim.
