@CmonMan187 We're you not around for the 2020 layoffs? You know, the semi-temporary ones starting in March? Surely you know about declaring national emergencies and what that means for our country.
@CmonMan187 So you're saying people weren't laid off because of covid? The biggest unemployment rate of our time was because of... policies against China in 2018?
After my account was unsuspended, I was informed that I would have to delete 12 posts to regain access to my account. I saw no immediate evidence of any wrongdoing, so I appealed.
I received an email stating that I would receive a response in 5-7 days, but after two months without a response, I finally gave up.
TL;DR 12 posts of mine that featured other people saying/advocating inappropriate things about children were enough to get my account completely removed without warning.
I want to emphasize that I NEVER posted anything remotely explicit, and all of the posts that I had to delete were just people saying disgusting things, sometimes accompanied by an image, but I never included images that were sexually explicit in any way.
I appealed this suspension because it's a dangerous precedent to set.
If a user were to post something like, "Having s*x with k*ds is good," and you were to post a screenshot of that post with the caption, "Wow this is messed up, report this everyone," then there is a very high chance that you will get suspended for doing so based on this platform's TOS.
Many of my posts have directly resulted in the people featured in them getting justly suspended, and it's counterproductive not to allow users to share people saying things that break the rules in a critical context.
I was fortunate enough to have friends with large accounts who brought attention to what had happened, to the extent that I was at least able to get my account back, however, I know for a fact that there are smaller accounts in similar situations that have not been so lucky.
As bad as it was to have my account completely removed without warning, my "5-7 day" appeal being indefinitely ghosted was worse because I was put in a position where I couldn't even view 11 out of the 12 posts that got me suspended, which meant that I didn't even know for sure what I was appealing.
I was only able to actually see the posts as I deleted them one by one, and even then, I wasn't actually able to see the images I had posted and was only able to find out what they were by cross-referencing the replies with the dates.
Most of the posts were people defending p*d*ph*lia or saying openly p*d*ph*lic things, but a few were just people saying dumb stuff, and at least one of the original posts hasn't been taken down yet.
The content of the original posts is disgusting, but outright removing a verified account with over 350k followers for sharing these posts in a critical context is counterproductive, especially when many of these degenerates remain at large.
Despite my disagreement with the policy, I understand why someone would not want such content shared on their platform, even in a critical context.
I will continue to make posts that feature people violating this platform's TOS (even though I will have to censor the screenshots' content) because I believe it's important to highlight these degenerates so they can be held accountable.
@Pflax1 Long story short, it's easier on the car to go at low speeds relative to the speed maximum.
The maximum speed of a car pushes the car to it's limits. It's essentially the maximum that the car can physically go at and strains car to do so, especially for long periods of time.
