🚨🔵⚪️ Napoli made contact with Gabriel Jesus camp over possible move, as @geglobo reported.
Discussions started while Arsenal insist on permanent move as only way for exit.
He’s now represented by same agency as Napoli head coach Allegri.
Arsenal had offered Vini Jnr one of the biggest packages in the history of the PL.
Conversations around being the face of PL, sky rocketing his brand economically and globally and a true chance at winning the Ballon d'Or. He was presented with testing himself in the best league in the world and leading Arsenal for another UCL push.
I have been critical of some of our movements in this market but this? The ownership / Berta / Mikel did absolutely everything to bring the best LW in world football to Arsenal.
When the time is right we will talk about the backstory because it was a rollercoaster. The club, even as recent as yesterday were supremely confident because of the package and conversations they had with the player directly and his camp.
Ultimately, the player is set to renew while Arsenal assess the market to bolster their attack and defence.
🚨 @JacobsBen: “The likelihood is there are offers for Gabriel Jesus. Al-Ahli & Saudi Arabia are showing an interest & if they were to lose Ivan Toney, they would ramp up efforts for either Jesus - if he opens the door, nothing yet - or Richarlison.”
“I’m told Mikel Arteta loves Jesus, so this would be a sale out of necessity potentially if they add in that area. If it was just up to Arteta, I think there’s a fair chance he’d say to keep Jesus.” ❌🇧🇷 [@LatteFirm]
🚨 Barcelona have decided to rival Real Madrid for Rodri. A midfield target before the World Cup and now talks are ongoing.
Manchester City still want to keep Rodri, but Barcelona are prepared to make an offer.
Real were previously clear favourites, but Barcelona is also of appeal to Rodri, who would ideally like to move to Spain for both football and family reasons.

🚨⚪️ Real Madrid are closing in on new deal for Vinicius Jr after positive talks yesterday.
The verbal agreement is now at final stages; final details being discussed then green light to proceed with new long term contract.
José Mourinho, also pushing for Vini to stay.
🚨 @JacobsBen: “If the door ever opened to Saudi, I think Al Nassr are the club that have looked the most at Gabriel Martinelli. A year ago, they were thinking of making an offer in the region of €85m. He would get a very lucrative contract, but he’s never given any encouragement to Saudi yet.” 🤔🇧🇷 [@LatteFirm]
🚨 @JacobsBen: “The way Andrea Berta differs is he doesn’t just spin plates, he makes negotiations [with multiple players] way more advanced than some other sporting directors, but it’s different for Vinicius Junior, according to my information.”
“Arsenal’s approach, which is NOT just Berta, there’s owners & football leadership team involved in this big pitch to Vinicius. They’re saying, ‘If you’re going to resolve your future this week, we’ll wait, we’re not going to speak to anyone else, you’re our number one target’.” 🕵️♂️🇧🇷 [@LatteFirm]
Rogers £117m fee offset by an inflated Garnacho fee.
Elliot Anderson's mega fee might be offset by Tijjani Reijnders moving to Forest.
All is not as it seems with all these supposed new-era market valuations in the Premier League.
Max Dowman grabbed the headlines as Arsenal's breakout star last season, but Marli Salmon was developing rapidly alongside him.
The 16-year-old defender made four senior appearances for the Gunners last campaign and was a defensive colossus in the Premier League 2.
Real Madrid improve their offer to Vini Jnr. The player is very appreciative of the gesture and willingness.
I am told it still does not exceed the package Arsenal have presented.
Final decision still yet to be made but player feels it was a positive meeting.
🚨 Real Madrid raise contract offer to Vinicius Junior. Proposal said to reflect 26yo’s importance to #RMFC & project. Decision time for Brazil int’l - renewal, await free agency next summer (club want to avoid) or pursue Arsenal opportunity @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/WvftHt6y84
🚨According to reports in Spain, the agents of Vinicius Junior and Real Madrid did not come to an agreement over a new contract during today’s meeting.
The Arsenal board are now said to be more confident than ever in signing the Brazilian.

“Bruno Guimareas will be Joining Arsenal for a £75m fixed fee - no adds” 🇧🇷
“Arteta , Berta and the Kroenke family want to defend their title and go one step further in the champions league”

🚨 Reports of RB Leipzig holding advanced interest in Ethan Nwaneri for €35m–€40m highlight the exact valuation model Andrea Berta must enforce.
Leipzig’s model thrives on offering young talent guaranteed minutes, but Arsenal cannot afford to lose control of Nwaneri’s ceiling. If any negotiation takes place, a strict €55m–€60m buyback clause is mandatory.
Look at how Real Madrid managed their academy exits, use Bundesliga development pitches as an external loan framework while retaining complete structural control over the asset.
“He has so many good attributes. Victor is a special talent.”
A piece on Victor Ozhianvuna, the 17-year-old signed for a League of Ireland transfer record - and who is carrying the flag for #AFC's longstanding Irish connection.

Newcastle United are set to sanction the sale of Bruno Guimaraes to Arsenal in a deal worth £75million.
Arsenal started negotiations at a significantly lower fee, while Newcastle wanted a larger figure – but the clubs have reached a compromise during talks to allow the 28-year-old to seal his desired move to north London.
Guimaraes’ former club Lyon are entitled to 20 per cent of Newcastle’s profit on the midfielder, and will earn £7-8m from the deal.
