Welcome to Pelea Animation.
Animation is more than entertainment—it’s a force for change.
The word “pelea” means “fight” in Spanish, and that is what we do — fight for important causes through art.
We are an indie studio currently producing our first short film.
Happy Pride🏳️🌈! Enjoy these sketches of the love birds at the heart of the “Pelea”, Daya Rojas & Lorena Mezua.
Daya is the daughter of Vivencia’s first leftist president, Elvia Maria Rojas, and Lorena is the little sister of one of Elvia Maria’s cabinet members.

Daya & Lorena are prodigy scientists. They are developing a technology that speeds up the lifecycles of oil & metal eating fungi. The modified fungi serve as a pollution clean up tool to repair the devastation from drilling and mining in the rainforest where Lorena is from.

I was a consultant for @Pixar’s “Hoppers.”
The creators wanted to speak to a young environmental activist in order to help shape the protagonist.
Thank you @threebarebears for the opportunity to be a part of the production, and congratulations on your film!
