Confirmed organizational change agent, using agile and lean approaches to improve teamwork, increase value, and make working life better for everyone involved.
@martinfowler As I age, I too struggled with not being “as productive”. Then a colleague told me my value was in giving my experience to others and making them more productive, so in fact I was more productive through enabling others. Keep doing what you do - you have certainly enabled me…
@lukadotnet Totally agree - I want to know when “Agile” became an industry. Certainly not my goal when I discovered this approach 22 (yes, not a typo) years ago. Can we just deliver better outcomes?
@TobySinclair_ “If you see a snake, just kill it. Dont form a commission to study snakes” - Ross Perot credited his father for this. Brilliant leader...
@amyklobuchar Hi Amy. Tariffs are not only affecting farmers (as everybody knows). We just paid $1,100 on importing curling shoes form our Canadian supplier - no explanation, no breakdown of costs, just a bill for $1,100 to get them into the country. Small businesses are paying for Trump's ego
@RonJeffries@lukadotnet@thenegrosuave Oh how powerful (and right) you are. I stopped going to Agilxx after 2011...too much navel gazing, not enough substance. Or did I just put myself out of work by being too honest?
@RonJeffries It’s not the concept of story points that is difficult, but the corporate notion that we can “earn” more story points every sprint. Faster is not better...
@allenholub Organizations that adopt agile only at the team level fail (maybe) 50% of the time - but the individuals grow a lot. Organizations that have agile dictated to them fail 95% of the time, and nobody grows. Organizations that adopt at he team an leadership level win...
@johannarothman Or maybe the project and program managers (part of the PMO) are simply justifying their existence? Which means "leaders" buy-into the need for a PMO...
@allison_pollard I hear lots of people say the same thing, but never follow-through with it. Ask yourself "how can I make this happen?". Some of us do this already...
And yet you continue to support the Republican agenda of eliminating or narrowing Medicare, not covering pre-existing conditions, killing the ACA, and raising premiums in the name of "the free market". You are seriously confused
@RepJasonLewis Can’t tell you how much we appreciate you raising tariffs on our products. If only we could continue selling our products overseas we could afford our mortgage and loan payments
That is a great start - thanks for sponsoring this bill. Any chance we can move to a similar state as the EU, where airlines pay compensation for cancelled and delayed flights like the EC 261/2004” regulation? Right now, all the power is with the airline - can we change that?
Also in today's #FAAReauthorization are provisions pushing back on the bad practice of airlines minimizing passenger seating space at the expense of passenger health, safety and comfort. Sen. Klobuchar also fought to include important customer service and consumer protections.
But you stand for less government, right? Now you want to promote government agencies auditing other government agencies? Ah, I get it - your friends make more money of this activity than if the Met Council was allowed to do its job!
Oh Jason, this is the organization that is funded by the Koch brothers, and was fined $50,000 for campaign funding violations. Are you sure you want to brag about this? Oh, wait, of course you do - the Koch brothers own you.
