Katie Scheckel was named Iowa's Class 4A volleyball player of the year by the @ICGACoach following a sensational junior season. Scheckel tallied 364 kills, 394 digs, and 56 service aces -- all in the top ten in 4A. The do-it-all star also had 458 assists and 22 blocks. #iahsvb

Lady Dutch will finish as the runner-up. Pella finishes a great year with a 41-8 record, their most wins in a season since 2009.

Pella’s Emma Eekhoff and Katie Scheckel earn all-tournament honors in Class 4A. Scheckel tallied 45 kills, 58 assists and 43 digs over three games. Eekhoff had 29 kills, 43 assists and 45 digs.
