I am curating an exhibition about the four Aristiotelian elements with a strong environmental focus, and I would like to include a specimen of a Swift as a bird that lives entirely air-borne for most of its live, and tell a conservation story around it @swifts_uk

The local natural history museum hasn't got a swift speciment, but is willing to add one to the permanent collection. Sadly this means waiting for a fatality for the taxidermist who is in touch with a local swift charity (sorry I don't know which one).

@flightlines247 @seatsixtyone Funny you should say that, I just booked flights through the competitor of the airline I have 65,000 hard-to-use air miles with, specifically because the fare was refundable with travel credit rather than non-refundable or having to change the dates at the time.

Wow. A recent order of three items from @UNIQLO_UK arrived with only two of the items in the packaging which was too small to fit a third item, and the “investigation” has just decided that all three items were sent, so no refund or replacement. That is basically theft.
