@wpgpolice Did some work at Stony Inside with inmates around. Not a bad life for them honestly from what I witnessed. Especially with rising rent, cost of food, utilities etc. Inmates even get free books, gym membership, music, games, nice little canteen. Not a bad gig

@deannawata Use to live there. Sold my House Feb 2022 and living like a king in the prairies. Semi retired at 40 due to buyers overpaying on my house. Poor bastards are now on a hamster wheel for decades to have proximity to mnts and ocean. Never thought my house would be like buying Amazon.

@jesse_kleine This isn’t just a RE problem. Without RE bubble, the old ways of one parent working while the other raises multiple children, in a purchased house and some disposable income turned into both parents working, no kids or 1-2 kids instead of 5-10, can’t afford shit.

@TheBeaverton All this talk about how much Winnipeg sucks. I live like a king in this city where as anywhere else I’d be lucky to live in a tent city for the same pay. Also do people not realize we can travel and enjoy warm weather? Working Monday to Friday who cares what the weather is doing.

@BenjWaldman People that complain about the winter and they work indoors lol. They deal with the walk from the door to the heated car. I’m on rooftops all day long restoring the heat in your building. I love knowing I’m the only one crazy enough to be out there. Something unique about it.

No matter what the party, I have zero hope in politics. Smoke mirrors and bullshit, they are so full of it and not phased one bit.

@MarketManiaCa I use to work for the feds at CFB esquimalt base in Victoria. If people could only see the waste in government there’d be anarchy in the streets.

The amount of theft at that place was unreal. Everyone there does it, from bottom to top. One guy built his house during work hrs.
