[13] It is better to be a poor but wise youth than an old and foolish king who refuses all advice. [14] Such a youth could rise from poverty and succeed. He might even become king, though he has been in prison.
It’s easy to try to pay people back, make them look bad, do to them what they’re doing to you. But trust God to be your vindicator. He can vindicate you better than you can vindicate yourself.

The church fears the world. But its real enemy is weak doctrine. The early church thrived under persecution because it stood firm.
Today, churches fear offending people more than offending God. If your church avoids doctrine, it has already surrendered.
