The unforgiving person is the closest thing to a “good person,” even more so than the forgiving or empathetic person.
A forgiving person is capable of forgiveness because he finds it easy to understand the behavior of those who offend him. This understanding is a function of possessing the capacity to act in a similar manner as those who offend him. He too is capable of hurting someone, and he knows it.
However, a man who is incapable of forgiving people is equally repelled by offending them. He has a rigid but consistent ethical stance: he will not hurt, and he will not forgive when he is hurt.
His lack of agency to be cruel to people mandates his lack of understanding for cruel character and thus makes him unforgiving of it. He will not forgive you for doing unto him what he cannot do to you.
Right there is a good person.
Islam highly values children and considers them one of the beautiful blessings and adornments of life. Allah says in the Qur'an: “Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world” (18:46). Motherhood also holds a very honored status in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ emphasized the greatness of mothers repeatedly and said that Jannah lies beneath the feet of mothers (reported in Sunan al-Nasa'i). Raising righteous children is among the greatest acts of worship and a source of ongoing reward (sadaqah jariyah). Because of this, Islam generally encourages marriage, family, and having children, especially when a couple is emotionally, physically, and financially able. A believer should not reject children out of fear of provision, because rizq (sustenance) comes from Allah.
At the same time, Islam is also a religion of wisdom and balance. Temporarily delaying pregnancy for valid reasons—such as health, emotional wellbeing, finances, or spacing children—is generally permissible if both spouses agree and no harm is involved. During the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, some companions practiced temporary methods to avoid pregnancy, and it was not forbidden (reported in Sahih Muslim). However, permanently choosing never to have children at all, especially through irreversible procedures without medical necessity, is a much more serious matter and generally discouraged by many scholars because it completely closes a natural blessing and purpose of marriage. Still, a woman is not sinful simply for struggling with fear, uncertainty, or not feeling emotionally ready for motherhood. Such feelings should be approached with reflection, sincere dua, consultation, and trust in Allah—not guilt alone. Islam honors women whether they become mothers or not, but it also encourages believers to remain open to the blessings and wisdom Allah may place in children and family life.
May Allah guide you to what is best for your deen and your future, fill your heart with wisdom and peace, bless you with righteous choices, and grant you a life filled with mercy, barakah, and closeness to Him. Ameen 🤲
Oladélé, this is the logical next step from the conversation we had yesterday. If you still remember, I argued about how we subconsciously shrink God to fit our finite human clock. Today, your question shows how we shrink God to fit human utility.
The question of "what is their purpose" assumes that the universe is centered around human beings. We subconsciously think that if humans cannot live on a planet, build houses on it, or use its resources, then it is a waste of space. However, the universe was not created to be a human terrarium. It is theocentric. That is, it is centered around the Creator, not us as humans.
To make it even clearer, think about it like this. A great king does not build a big palace because he intends to sleep in every single room. He builds it to reflect the scale of his power, his majesty, his wealth, and his sovereignty.
If we apply this analogy to an infinite Creator, what does that tells you? It means that if God only created one tiny rock called Earth suspended in an empty void, it would not reflect infinite majesty.
The terrifying vastness of space, the billions of galaxies, the brightness of stars, and the countless planets are there to force the human mind to look up and realize how incredibly small we are, and how immensely powerful He is.
As a Muslim, I am forced to reflect how the Almighty God in the Quran addresses our human arrogance directly. In Surah Ghafir 40:57, Allah states that the creation of the heavens and the earth is far greater than the creation of mankind, but most people do not know.
If we reflect on this, we would see that we are just a fraction of the story. The rest of the cosmos is fulfilling its own purpose and glorifying Him in ways we do not comprehend.
Having said that, even on a purely physical and mechanical level, those other planets in our solar system serve a direct purpose for our survival.
Take Jupiter and Saturn for specifics. Those huge gas giants act as cosmic shields. Their immense gravity pulls in comets and rogue asteroids that would have otherwise struck Earth and wiped out life long ago. They are standing guard in the dark so you can live down here.
God did not create anything as a meaningless accessory. Every single rock floating in the dark has a purpose. We are just too focused on ourselves to see the broader architecture.
Allah knows best.
I used to think I had a high libido until I met this girl named Favor. I used to brag that no woman could match my energy in bed, until I met her. This girl would want sex from morning till night; she never got tired.
Where I drew the line was when I came down with malaria. I was on a drip, and she came to me, trying her best to get me aroused. When she noticed my body wasn’t responding, she became upset afterward.
When I realized I was starting to lose weight, I had no choice but to break up with her. She was going to drain me if I hadn’t ended things. But Favor was really good in bed honestly, I haven’t met anyone like her in a while.
It still hurts to this day that we couldn’t work things out, all because of her high sex drive and the fact that I couldn’t keep up.
Is this a brand new scientific revelation?
They are surprised at how the Earth and the Moon move together through space, locked in their paths without colliding.
Allah described this orbital mechanics over 1400 years ago in a way that modern astronomy is just catching up to.
In Surah Ya-Sin (36:40), Allah says:
لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنبَغِي لَهَا أَن تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
"It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit."
Look at the specific Arabic word used at the end of that verse: يَسْبَحُونَ (yasbahun).
This translates to swimming or floating smoothly along a course. It is the perfect, literal description of celestial bodies gliding through the vacuum of space, bound by what these scientists now call gravity. They are not fixed to solid domes like the ancient Greeks believed. They are floating in their designated paths.
Allah repeats this in Surah Al-Anbiya (21:33):
وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
"And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all in an orbit are swimming."
They spend billions of dollars on deep space satellites and telescopes just to post an image of what an unlettered Prophet in the desert recited to his companions centuries ago. The truth has always been there for anyone willing to read.
We are and will be always 1400+ years ahead no matter the billions you spend.
I laugh in Chinese 😂
Should I burst your bubble? Let me burst it because I see that you don’t want to learn. You have been fed with lies and it has compounded your ignorance.
You are confusing the first three hundred years of early Christianity with the last 1700 years of Christendom. Yes, the early followers of Jesus were persecuted. However, the moment the Roman Empire adopted Christianity under Constantine and later made it the only legal religion with the Edict of Thessalonica in 380 AD, the persecuted became the violent persecutors. Pagans were slaughtered and their temples destroyed.
Have you read about Charlemagne? During the Saxon Wars in the 8th century, he issued a law called the “Capitulatio de partibus Saxoniae.” His official state policy was baptism or death. I know you don’t know this Barbie 😂. He beheaded thousands of Saxons in a single day at the Massacre of Verden for refusing to convert.
When the Conquistadors arrived in the Americas, they read a document called the “Requerimiento” to the native populations. It demanded they submit to the Church and the Spanish Crown, or face war, enslavement, and death. Was that people repenting and turning to Jesus? State violence played a huge role in Christianizing Europe and the Americas.
Now let me turn to Islam. I see that you are ignorant, and this has made you conflate political expansion with religious conversion.
When Muslim armies defeated the Byzantine and Persian empires, they conquered land and established political authority. They did not put swords to the necks of civilians to change their faith. If they did, places like Egypt, Syria, and Persia would have become Muslim overnight.
However, historical records show these regions remained majority Christian and Zoroastrian for almost 300 years after the initial Islamic conquest. They converted gradually over centuries under the Dhimmi system because they were protected and allowed to keep their faith.
Take a look at the largest Muslim populations today. Indonesia, Malaysia, and massive regions of East and West Africa. No Muslim army ever marched there. Islam spread entirely through trade routes, scholars, and the moral character of Muslim merchants.
Do not take my word for it. Sir Thomas Arnold, a non-Muslim historian in his book “The Preaching of Islam” thoroughly dismantled this sword myth. In fact, the famous British historian De Lacy O'Leary wrote in his book “Islam at the Crossroads” and stated expressly that: the myth of the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever repeated.
Will I open your head and speak truth to it if you can’t be open minded to learn? This subject matter is well above your pay grade. Maybe your boss Dachomo will do better. And I promise, I will school him.
Thank you for your attention.
