I have had several folks ask the same two questions. The first question is "how does it work"? and the 2nd question is "does it tumble the contents like a clothes drier?"

So it works like this, the Pengo Cooler Ball has a circumferential track that rolls on a system of stainless rollers that are mounted in a trench under the track. This allows the cooler to roll like it has a wheel through it's center when in fact it is just an open volume inside. There are skid plates on the under side that help keep it balanced but it maintains it's balance really regardless. This allows the cooler to roll while keeping all of the contents steady and in place, no tumbling!

There's a big water tight hatch for loading bulk contents and ice that latches to the main cooler body. There's also a small port hatch that you can pop off to reach inside to grab a single drink which is really handy if you're floating in the water because the spherical shape make the cooler really easy to handle.

The curved rack that folds over the top is a tow bar that is pinned to a handle on one side of the cooler and is latched to the handle on the other side. This unfolds so you can tow the cooler by hand which makes it easy to pull the cooler along a beach or out of a river or up and down stairs, etc. It also can be used as a rack for mounting speakers or whatever while in the water.

The Pengo Cooler Ball's compact symmetry and ability to easily roll and float make it a great companion for bringing your cold drinks and snacks to the beach, lake, river or park.
