The $NOICE thesis: More Than Just Tips.
In this analysis, I take a detailed look at the Noice project from the perspective of product / token / expected catalysts. The analysis is based on some of the best tools currently available on the crypto — a combination of Kaito + Nansen + Aixbt's terminal.
Reminder: The thoughts below should not be considered as financial advice or investment recommendations.
1. General Overview.
Noice launched as a mini-app in the @farcaster_xyz eco about a month ago, and as of now can boast:
• 10k daily transactions via tipping
• #1 in mindshare across the entire Farcaster ecosystem [https://t.co/aFdnKF8VKF]
• Winner of Base Batch 001 (https://t.co/TmQzvERO2T) + direct support from Jesse (https://t.co/IfVjHYZuTi) + Balaji (https://t.co/QlEQgMAERj)
In simple terms, Noice allows users to exchange value for basic actions like following, reposting, any reaction under the tweet/cast/. Where’s the value? In the simplicity of interaction. Primitive donation systems force the user to switch to third-party apps and send a transaction. Noice breaks this barrier through micro-transactions.
Thanks to Noice, creators can extract value from their content directly — not through external monetization platforms. In a way, @degentokenbase has already done this, but it was limited to one platform and heavily driven by community incentives, which (in my opinion) somewhat shifted its trajectory.
Noice doesn’t limit tipping to a single token or a single platform. That, I believe, will be a decisive factor in the next wave of social-fi adoption.
In short, what we have here is: seamless experience, a strong community, support from some of the sharpest minds in Base, a solid team, and clear product-market fit.
2. Economic Flywheel + $NOICE token.
What I like most is that the app is independent on the token — this gives us wide scope for speculation. $NOICE serves the purpose of supporting the overall platform through targeted user incentives. Compared to $DEGEN, which had to run massive airdrop programs to attract users [the top user received $140k at current prices https://t.co/rFjeo3xgd9], which led to exploitative farming.
The $NOICE team hasn’t carried ouy any major airdrop program yet. On the contrary, they incentivize users to tip and receive small rewards in return.
The tokenomics of $NOICE look like this:
> 60% — Circulating Supply (currently in market)
> 20% — Locked Supply [upcoming airdrops] (30-day lock period)
> 10% — Lead Developer (for tipping)
These are approximate numbers, shared by one of the founders (https://t.co/eaO8aI23fw). What stands out? No VC overhang, only an airdrop announcement set for June 21. I strongly doubt the team will dump all the tokens at once — that would be irrational and damage the project’s growth. Instead, targeted incentives would attract a new wave of users and increase utility of the $NOICE token within the Base ecosystem.
Maybe that’s exactly what the team is planning — we can only speculate. The tokenomics look balanced, price is determined by the market, and the current market cap is $12.1M. I don’t see any obvious or hidden red flags. The only risk is from those who bought in heavily at launch, but we’ll assess that in the on-chain analysis.
3. Kaito.
What are Noice’s metrics in the social space? And what are some of the smartest minds saying about it?
Noice has excellent follower growth, which is definitely encouraging.
On X, mentions aren’t massive — mostly result sharing and $NOICE-related takes. Notable highlights:
1. @jessepollak (https://t.co/IfVjHYZuTi) and @davidtsocy (https://t.co/wWZc6FKGsJ) mention Noice in a highly positive context.
2. The official Base account shares a video demonstrating how Noice works (https://t.co/wusYg9ChCT)
3. One of the founders explains how to earn your first $100 using Noice (https://t.co/S7IKpRbLr7)
4. The simplest breakdown of Noice’s mechanics from @Saxenasaheb (https://t.co/yoXffZN1XJ)
5. @iruletrenches discusses the most anticipated catalyst for Noice in the near future (https://t.co/PKBMSj1em2)
All in all, the project has reached a comfortable level of recognition — it’s visible, but not overhyped. That’s a good place to be.
4. Nansen.
In the on-chain analysis, I will attempt to determine the risk profile of $NOICE in order to avoid potential token dumps by whales.
These represent the largest positions. Other wallets hold smaller amounts, and their sales are offset by buy-side pressure (as has been the case so far).
