@OrthElisa@LatinXChem Thanks, according to the type of treatment required, the released dose and the release time can be adjusted to control the % released. Actually, infections treated with metronidazole do not exceed two weeks of treatment.
@ORTIZCARMENCER@LatinXChem The size of the microparticles is important because it influences the rate of release of the drug, the smaller the sizes, the higher the rate of release. Interactions can occur between Metronidazole (OH–) and (NO2–) groups, which form hydrogen bonds with Chitosan (OH–, NH3+).
An attempt for a more feasible alternative for magnetic separation with respect to magnetic latex, tested 20 years ago.

@Dr_Desimone@LatinXChem The main difference observed in mechanical properties is due to the presence of CDHAp in the films that increase tensile strength and G module, maximum decomposition temperarure is also increase with CDHAp. CHNF increases the rate of decomposition of CS.
@olgaliir@LatinXChem The samples have a heterogeneous composition as observed in the preliminary results of the work. However we can say that CS films containing CDHAp have the best mechanical properties, showing high tensile strength and Young’s modulus.
