@RetroMatt2077 Thanks, Matt! I've got some live playtests coming up in mid-July if your interested.
Get a free copy of the game when it releases and your name in the credits🤌

Starting work on the third level. It's going to be bigger and square rather than round to create a more natural feeling skate experience. A *little* less mind bending so players can focus on a new feature being introduced: trick challenges.
Sorry to hear that. It's all good though. Once I nail down some winning ideas, I'm going to hire a concept artist to flesh out the details on the top 5 or so and then a 3d character artist to make the models. I just want to experiment with a bunch of different ideas first and AI art is an affordable way to do it.
I know some folks don't like that I'm using AI art in this survey, and I get it. I have a love/hate relationship with AI personally. It's completely changing my profession (software) in ways I don't particularly love. But at the end of the day, I'm just a solo dev trying to hustle an awesome game into existence.
I hope you'll reconsider because I want to make sure I pick characters people actually want to play as. No hard feelings though if you can't get past the AI art.
Much love,
Robert
@updog_osaka@BeanJuiceStudio His course is basically an indie/steam marketing playbook. I'd be lost without it. There are probably other options but I like him. I don't think he's gimmicky
I recommend Chris Zukowski's stuff. I'm not affiliated, but I went through his marketing course and planning on going through it a couple more times throughout my development.
He lays things out pretty clearly and identifies marketing beats you should hit and gives advice and techniques on how to approach them.
It's a lot of work though 😅
@Levi_Researcher You can help shape the game😇https://t.co/NLc8PklQN5
Honestly, it's super helpful. I'm developing the game as closely with players as possible.
Check out this space skateboarding game by @penitent_games, inspired by Tony Hawk's trick and combo gameplay. 🚀
