Yesterday the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing hosted a workshop on "Moments that Matter: AI-Enabled Decision Support for Older Adults Throughout Critical Care Transitions" sponsored by The Penn AI and Tech Collaboratory for Healthy Aging and the NewCourtland Center for Transitions and Health. The workshop engaged academic researchers, policy makers, and representatives from industry and health systems in a process to advance our shared thinking about how AI can be responsibly designed and implemented to support older adults and their families during critical transitions in care.
