@FunmiOlonisakin makes an argument that collective agency will have a more positive impact on the continent. She highlights that we need everyone and everything to be brought together for self renewal. @ALC_KCL @KingsCollegeLon @KenyaMissionUK
“Is African Agency for sale, for hire or self-renewal? How can Africa shape the UN Summit of the future?”
Being the most resource-rich continent, how did Africa end up in a position of weakness and disintegration?

Thank you to @WHOBotswana and the German Embassy. Why don’t we request support with strengthening hospital capacity in treating COVID-19 patients, specifically through the German flying hospital?
The Minister of Health and Wellness, Hon. Dr Edwin G. Dikoloti and the German Ambassador to Botswana, Ms. Margit Hellwig-Bötte signed the agreement which will include the procurement of laboratory supplies worth 100, 000 Euro (est. 1,3 million Pula).
She is not the only one, the first or last. The health system in Botswana has reached capacity and people who could be saved by oxygen are going to die due to a shortage of hospital beds
Well done, German Air Force (@Team_Luftwaffe)! Italian and French patients requiring ICU care are being evacuated to various German hospitals. Airbus 310 MedEvac is a flying ICU with 44 beds. #COVID19#EU#JointEffort
@VP you have mail from my friend @tlebotse , a desperate mother with small children. The past few weeks have been devastating for our country. Not only are infections and deaths increasing, Botswana is short of vaccines, despite buying through COVAX.
