💙 A Penny For My Thoughts
I've tried so much to express my thoughts, but I just can't gather them together. My mind seems to be in different places at the same time, and it's just so hard not to think I'm overthinking. But I know I'm not.
I think I'll just gather my thoughts...
Envy comes from wanting something you genuinely don't have, feeling insecure about a particular area, comparison, scarcity, resentment, or simply being human.
I think one of the hardest things about growing is learning that someone else's progress doesn't cancel yours.
You can clap for them and still wish it was your turn. Both things can be true.
Unlearning is a skill.
The people who can't do it are the ones stuck in 2015.
Growth is literally unlearning + relearning.
If I see a better way to do something, I'm ready to drop the old way and grab the new one.
There are people who don't want to learn. They just sit at the back row at an event, looking forward to judging, looking for mistakes to post, looking for the downfall of people. And when you look at these people's lives, they aren't even better than the people they are mocking.
"At what point does vulnerability become weakness?"
At the point where you fail to protect your self-respect and boundaries, and choose to play the victim all the time.
Sometimes, what you see as a problem is actually an opportunity to create a solution.
The problem might be you or something around you.
That thing you see as a flaw might just be pointing you towards something that needs to be understood, changed, or created.
