At around 10pm I got super excited to write. I made decaf coffee and after about 5 minutes, I was wondering why I was feeling so excited. I now realize my coffee is actually not decaf, but indeed very caffeinated. But at least I'll be writing...maybe, hopefully.

@chrisjrobinson_ I'm no stranger to oppressive learning environments growing up in public school and attending a PWI for undergrad, it was strange stepping back into an academic env. and realizing not much had changed.

@chrisjrobinson_ I recently withdrew from a graduate program where I was one of few Black students in an environment steeped in the guise of divesting from whiteness. It held the promise of "holding space" for liberation theology and Black and Brown bodies and sorely misdelivered.
