@creepingtoad Go and visit my mum (Carole Hoey’s) old house. When she moved she waited until Scottish Heritage were able to buy it. It’s now an archeological site sat between the Stones of Stenness and the Ring of Brodgar. It has such a special energy. I miss Orkney! Have a wonderful trip 🥰
Our peatland restoration team are delighted to return to the bogs for another year.
Peatland restoration is at the heart of our business. For us, it’s not enough to make quality peat-free composts; we also want to play an active role in recovering damaged peatlands.

@CherrydidiUK I’m in total awe of Nicky’s talent. There are very few artists, in any medium, who can capture the essence of Herdwick sheep like this. If I had the money, I would buy every one of her pieces and fill Yew Tree Farm with them 🥰

Nicky says ‘I photographed this couple of Herdwick Tups at last year’s Eskdale Show. They were cheek to cheek, taking advantage of a friend’s back to enjoy the sun on their faces and seemed to be smiling at the camera’

There are lots of things in this world I don’t agree with, but as I don’t have the knowledge and experience to criticise those who do it for a living I generally keep my opinions to myself.
Maybe have a bit of empathy for farming families before tweeting about sheep farmers?
