What’s funny is that my teachers talked extensively about racism, sexism, we learned about apartheid in South Africa and the Holocaust - but in the 90s having empathy and realizing racism and sexism are real weren’t markers for being a democrat or republican. Not like today

@Zoey_Granitz @jtrebach The date that someone received medical care is identifiable. If someone can look at information and realize “oh, that was MY exam”, it’s identifiable. You don’t need to plaster someone’s name and birthdate on a photo for it to be identifiable. Morons.

@dissproportion My kids were having fun in dance classes until about age 10 the switch flipped and the teachers started ignoring kids who weren’t enrolled in 3 or 4 classes each week and it was a real kick in the pants for my unserious kids who just liked to boogie.

Hot take: pin trading would be more fun if it was 100% fake and everyone knew it. The fake pins are cute, hard to detect, and cheap. Ppl are just mad about paying $20 for a “real” pin and trading it for something worth $1. The fun part of trading isn’t “getting a good $ deal”

One weird thing that happened in Disneyland Paris is I tried to trade with one of the cast pin boards and they said no and that my pin was fake even though it had the Mickey-imprint back because it was "too shiny" 😭 Haven't tried to trade in years but now I'm scared to
